Dates ( Tamer, Korma )
Dates with their small size fall from the lofty height of the tall palm tree in the skies. It is a good tree with fixed roots and a branch in the sky. Dates are the best meal before fasting and the break of fast of the fasting Moslem. The palm tree is what god almighty has ordered Virgin Mary (God's peace be upon her) to shake its trunk to eat there from and to enjoy her meal after delivering Jesus Christ the son of Mary (God's peace Be Upon Him).

Sesame Seeds
Comes from Southern Asia and North Africa Egypt. The sesame which as a plant reaches 60cm. The many seeded fruit is used for sesame oil (cooked foods, pastries, soap production, aromatherapy). Sesame is also used in baking.

Onion
Its homeland is believed to be Egypt. It is the common onion in ground form. Its taste is somewhat spicy and its smell rather Indian. Used widely in cooked foods and believed to have medicinal qualities in combating some illnesses.

Clove (whole)

This is a bush with an extremely characteristic fragrance that grows semi - naturally in many parts of Greece and the Mediterranean. Rosemary lends fragrance, intensity and color to spiced olive oil, vinegars and even cooking salts. It is an excellent complement to beef, lamb, game and poultry.

Peppermint

Dill
